About ACEEstablished 17 years ago, the Adult Education Center has continued to provide educational training to Adults in Elliot Lake and surrounding areas
During the times of the Mines being opened, Adult Education usually took their summer break during the first two weeks of July. Since the closure of the last mine, in 1996, scheduling has been changing and evolving to suit our learners' needs. The introduction of high technology during the latter days of the eighties and early nineties escalated Adult Education Centre into training adults in using the computer. Now many people can enjoy keeping up to date on office software and graphics software for work and school.
